Dukić's moment: The excitement is growing

The anticipation has come to an end, after boxer Bojana Gojković, tennis player Danka Kovinić and water polo player, the moment has come for the performance of Milivoj Dukić at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Montenegrin sailor Dukić, who together with Danko Kovinić carried the flag at the opening ceremony, today takes to the regatta field in Marseille - he is in a group with 43 of the best sailors on the planet, and first of all he has to fight for the Top 10.

- Excitement is growing as the start of the competition approaches. We worked well, I am ready physically and mentally, and I also have a lot of experience from previous performances at the OI. I will try to present myself, my family and Montenegro in a dignified way - said Dukić.

This will be his fourth Games. In the first 2012 in the "laser" class, he finished in 30th place, four years later he was 29th, and in 2021 he reached 17th position and won one of the stages...

- We managed to do everything we planned. We are ready for a big fight, the forecast is unstable when it comes to the weather conditions on the regatta field, but we counted on that too. And it will be a big fight from the first to the last regatta - said Dukić's coach Ilko Klakor.

Therefore, Dukić is leaving today, and on August 3 and 4, Montenegrin swimmers Jovana Kuljača and Miloš Milenković, as well as athlete Darko Pešić, will present themselves in Paris.
