Another painful defeat, another lost match in which the Montenegrin water polo players showed that they can, but did not crown an excellent edition.

"It was a different game than against Greece, with a lot of pressure on both sides and I believed we could solve it in the regular part. We had opportunities to do that, and penalties are always a lottery," said coach Vladimir Gojković.
The matches with the United States of America (Saturday) and Romania (Monday) follow - two victories bring the quarterfinals.
"Nothing changes, we definitely have to win the Americans to reach the quarterfinals. But you don't have to do anything because all the top teams are here. USA is a great team, we prepared with them and we know what to expect. The goal is to reach the top eight, we tried that in the previous three games, we will try in the next two as well. There will be a duel in which there is no reparation, and we are aware of that," added Gojković.
Montenegro had chances against Italy - they squandered them in the last eight minutes.
"We could have decided the match in the last two minutes. We also had that bad judgment in the attack with the player more after the time-out, but that happens and the mistake came from the best of intentions. I congratulate the players on another great match", said Gojković.
Dejan Lazović was phenomenal in goal, and when asked if he is again the number one goalkeeper in the Montenegrin team, Gojković replied:
"We'll see that against America."
