Montenegrin sailor Milivoj Dukić shares 13th place in the Olympic regatta after the fourth day of competition and eight held regattas.

Dukić finished second in the seventh regatta today, while he won 26th place in the eighth.

"Exhausting day. As in the previous days, I sailed exceptionally in the first race, got to second place. From start to finish, I sailed at a high level. In the second regatta, it was similar, I had a great start, but I didn't manage to claim my position. It is important that the fight continues, I have improved compared to all these days. I feel good and I hope that I will capitalize on that tomorrow and that I will place in the medal race," said Dukić.

Dukić competes in class ILCA 7.

After the first day of competition he was eighth, after the second he was 16th, while after the third he was in 18th place.

On the eve of the last regatta day of the first stage of the competition, with 106 points, Dukić shares 13th position with multiple world medalist and fourth place finisher from Tokyo, Filip Bula from Germany.

He is seven points away from placing among the top ten.

Dukić is in a group with 43 of the best sailors on the planet, who are fighting for a place in the TOP 10, that is, in the medal race regatta, and then for medals.
