Athletes at the Paris Olympics have complained about supplies at a restaurant in the Olympic Village, forcing the operator to increase orders, AFP confirmed.
British athletes are boycotting the restaurant in the Olympic Village because of not enough eggs and chicken, but also because of too much "raw" meat that was served, and to bring a chef from Great Britain, the British daily Times reported today.
"The British delegation has decided to reinforce their catering teams already at this event center outside the village, with the presence of an additional chef. We regret this decision and are fully mobilized to meet all the needs of all athletes," the operators told AFP.
"Certain products, such as eggs and grilled meat, are especially popular with athletes and that's why the quantities have been increased," added the operator.
