The Spanish tennis player, Carlos Alkaras secured a medal at the Olympic Games in Paris!
Today, the world's third-ranked tennis player easily and convincingly defeated Felix Ože-Alijas (6:1, 6:1) in the semifinals and qualified for the final.
Alkaras was dominant today from the first point - after the opening minutes, the Spaniard tied five games and led 1:0 in the sets.
An identical situation was seen in the second set - after 1:1, Alkaras again tied five games and advanced to the next round.
In the final, Alkaras will play with the better team from the match in which Novak Djokovic and Lorenzo Muzeti meet tonight.
The loser of that duel will play for the bronze medal against Ože-Alijas.
