Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic said last night, after reaching the final of the Olympic Games in Paris, that he does not want to stop there, and added that he is going for gold in the final.
"It's hard to collect all the emotions now. My first final at the Olympic Games. I'm not going to stop there, I'm going for the gold in the final. But first, let me celebrate as it should. I secured a medal for Serbia," Djokovic said after the match.
He reached the final after defeating Italian Lorenzo Musetti in two sets - 6:4, 6:2.
"I always put the greatest pressure and the greatest expectations on myself. In addition to everything I've won, the fact that you didn't play in the final of the Olympic Games always slips by. I hope that I made the fans in Serbia happy," added Đoković.
Đoković will play in the final against Spaniard Carlos Alkaras.
"I hope for the best edition so far. Neither he nor I have lost a set so far. It will be the hardest match, but guys, I'm in the final of the Olympic Games, let me be happy," Djokovic said.
