Tara Šljivančanin, a cadet from Podgorica taekwondo club S3, won the gold medal, while Lana Baletić and Marija Nestorović won bronze on the first competitive day of the Grand Prix finals for cadets and juniors in Bucharest.
The tournament is of the E10 level, and gathered 16 of the best fighters in Europe by category.
Šljivančanin won gold in the category up to 44 kilograms, and in the final match she defeated the representative of Italy, Nicole Masalja.
She previously eliminated Nadja Kolar from Serbia and the representative of Romania, Maja Simeonov.
Baletić won the bronze medal in the same category, after defeating the Bulgarian Maja Simeonov in the match for the podium.
In the first round, she eliminated the Croatian Elena Katičić, but in the second round she lost to the Italian Masalja.
Nestorović won bronze in the category up to 33 kilograms.
She beat the Greek Angeliki Papamihail in the first round, but lost to the French Enea Bruna in the second round.
She won the bronze medal by winning against the representative of Serbia, Nađa Babić.
Cadet Petar Adžić's excellent performance failed to crown him with a medal in the category up to 37 kilograms.
"Despite an excellent fight, Adžić did not manage to fight for a medal. He lost in the first round to the representative of Bulgaria, Vladislav Krastev.
