More than 30 representatives of Montenegrin basketball clubs have supported Dragan Kadić's candidacy for president of the Basketball Association of Montenegro, reports PR Center.

As reported, signatures for Kadić's candidacy were placed today.

Kadić holds a Master's degree in Economics and has extensive managerial experience in the most significant state and private systems such as the FRY Army, Promonte/Telenor and Elektroprivreda Crne Gore.

He was born in 1968, and is known to the public as a long-time sports worker, with deep roots in the sport of basketball.

As a former player, a licensed statistician with over three decades of experience, Kadić was an active participant in almost all matches of Montenegrin clubs in the Euroleague, Eurocup, ABA League, as well as during the performances of the Montenegrin national team.

"In his address to the clubs, Kadić expressed his strong will and readiness to put his professional, sporting and life experience at the service of modernizing and improving the work of the Basketball Association," the PR Center states.

Kadić is expected to succeed Jelena Dubljević as the head of KSCG, who recently resigned after a conflict with people from the Bemax company.

The electoral assembly is scheduled for June 13th, and Kadić is currently the only candidate.
