Budva member Matija Ćinćur was declared the best volleyball player, while Melisa Cenović from Herceg Novi was the best volleyball player in Montenegro, in the traditional selection of the Volleyball Association.
With the votes of the volleyball clubs, the Board of Directors and the coaching committee, the Volleyball Association chose the best and most promising volleyball players, as well as the best coaches in the domestic championship for 2024.
Ćinćur, who won the election with six votes, won the double crown in the Budva jersey, and had successful performances in European matches as well.
He is a member of the senior national team in which he had notable performances during the qualification for the European Championship.
Budva volleyball player Balša Radunović (4 votes) and Stefan Radević, a former member of Budućnost, and now a player of Sailors (2 votes), were also in the competition.
Đorđe Jovović was chosen as the best volleyball player abroad, for the second time in a row, who won 11 votes.
He spent last season in Triglav, Slovenia, and finished the league as the league's best scorer and server.
Since this season, he has been playing for Zagreb's Mladost, where at the beginning of this season he recorded exceptional games on all three fronts. Mladost plays in the domestic championship, MEVZA league and CEV cup.
Jovović is a standard member of the national team and the first corrector of the senior national team of Montenegro.
Proofreader Bojan Strugar was also in the competition and won one vote.
Luka Lojić, Budućnost Volley volleyball player, was chosen as the most promising volleyball player in 2024 with seven votes.
Lojić recorded notable performances for the Budućnosti team, both in the younger categories and in the senior team.
In the 2023/2024 season, he won the cadet championship with the Podgorica team, and was chosen as the best player of the championship. He also won third place at the junior championship.
With the cadet national team of Montenegro, he won silver at the Balkan Championship in Tirana.
Budva volleyball players Vuk Stanojević (3 votes) and Vasilije Milenković (2 votes) were also in the selection.
Miljan Bošković, coach of Budva, was elected for the second time as the best coach in the domestic championship for volleyball players in 2024 with nine votes.
Bošković led the Budva team to the double crown in the Montenegrin championship.
He also had notable results on the European stage, where the Budva team won the second round of qualification for the Champions League.
Bošković is the selector of the pioneering national team with whom he had very notable games at the Belgrade Trophy.
Bošković is a member of the professional staff of the senior national team.
In the competition was the former coach of Jedinstva, Darko Prebiračević, who won three votes.
Melisa Cenović, volleyball player from Herceg Novi, was chosen as the best volleyball player in the domestic championship for 2024, with 13 votes.
Cenović won the double crown with the Herceg Novi team the previous season.
She is a member of the senior national team of Montenegro, with which she recorded excellent performances in the CEV Silver League and the qualifications for the European Championship.
Also in the competition were Kristina Božović, who played for Luka Bar last season, while this season she is a member of Buducnost (2 votes) and Viktoria Đukić, also a volleyball player of Buducnost Volley (2 votes).
Mina Dragović, a volleyball player from Lugož, Romania, who won 23 votes, was chosen as the best volleyball player abroad again this year.
Last season, with the Jedinstvo team from Stara Pazova, she won the title of Serbian champions, the Serbian Cup and Super Cup, in which the Montenegrin volleyball player made a great contribution.
Dragović is also a member of the senior national team, where she had good games, both in CEV Silver League matches and in the qualifiers for the European Championship.
Saška Đurović of Portugal's Sporting Lisbon (2 votes) and Katarina Budrak of France's Bordeaux were also in the competition.
Lana Rakočević, volleyball player of Budućnost Volley, was chosen as the most promising volleyball player of Montenegro, with 14 votes.
With the Budućnosti team, she won the cadet championship of Montenegro, as well as second place in the junior championship.
Rakočević is also a part of the senior national team of Montenegro, with whom he played in the CEV Silver League and the qualifiers for the European Championship.
Her former teammate, now a member of Serbian Omladinc, Darja Popović, who won six votes, and Staša Mitrović, a Budva player, with five votes, were also in the competition.
Budva coach Časlav Đurović was chosen as the best coach in the domestic women's volleyball championship in 2024 with eight votes.
With the Budva women's team, he won a historic appearance in the EPCG Superliga after he was better than Rudar in the play-off.
In the competition were the coaches of Luka Bar Vladimir Milačić (7 votes), Gimnazialca Milan Franović (4 votes), Morača Marko Blagojević (three votes) and Budućnosti Luka Bogojević (3 votes).
