Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will return to football in 2019, but did not reveal the destination.
The Frenchman has been out of work since last season when, after 22 years, he left Arsenal's bench.
Asked by a Sky Sport reporter when he can expect his return, Wenger replied:
"Certainly at the beginning of 2019. At the moment I'm resting and watching a lot of football. I've said many times before that it wouldn't be very good for me to go back to England, because I spent 22 years there managing Arsenal. I can't tell you at the moment where I will continue my career, because I don't know myself. I will work somewhere, but I don't know where," Wenger remained vague.
The Frenchman did not specify whether he will work for a club or national team.
"I don't know, I haven't decided yet," Wenger said.
