Jadran Carina water polo players made a "break" in Budva - they defeated Primorac (11:9) in the first match of the Eurocup quarterfinals.
Kotor was in the lead for three quarters, three times they had plus two, but Novlja broke the match in the finish and justified their role as favorites.
Primorac led 8:6 at the beginning of the last quarter, but a series of 4:0 by Vladimir Gojković's team followed, which announced the triumph.
In the last 30 seconds, Primorac had two attacks to equalize, but Jadran's goalkeeper Slaven Kandić reacted perfectly on both occasions.
