Jadran Carine settled the derby and registered its fourth victory in the regional A1 competition.
Novljan beat Jadran from Split and leapfrogged them in the standings - in Igalo the score was 11:7 in favor of Vladimir Gojković's team.
In the first half, the score saw a see-saw, and then the Montenegrin champion slowly made the difference in the third quarter, when he reached a two-goal advantage for the first time (7:5, 8:6).
Later it was plus four, and then it became clear that the people of Split, who eliminated Jadran in the playoffs for the Champions League, had nothing to look for.

Montenegrin teams in the A2 league recorded victories - Budva was better than Solaris 11:8, while Kataro defeated Galeb 9:8 in Makarska.
