As stated in the announcement, Cerović "has decided to prove himself in sports work, so he will try to do so at the head of the largest Montenegrin cycling organization, for which he received the full trust of all who today decided to entrust him with such a high sports function".

"The topic of today's Assembly of the Cycling Association of Montenegro was the harmonization of the Statute with the recently adopted Law on Sports of Montenegro. The Statute thus arranged will be submitted to the Ministry of Sports of Montenegro for assessment in the coming days," the announcement of the Cycling Association reads.
