The international boxing show, in which Milovan Sekulović will debut in the professional ring, will be held on Sunday in Podgorica's Njegošev Park, the organizers of the event announced.
It is stated that ten matches in Olympic boxing and two professional ones are planned.
In professional boxing, apart from Sekulović, Umut Kamkiran from Turkey will be introduced to the Podgorica audience.
In the introductory part of the program, the third round of the Montenegrin Boxing League will be held, in all age categories. The participation of the boxers of Bijelo Polje, Feniks, Beran Radničko, BK Zlaticanin, Podgorica and Budva has been announced.
The opponent of the bronze medalist from the European Cadet Championship in 2016 will be Mirza Ganić from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As a professional, Sekulović will fight in the super middleweight category (up to 76,2), and the upcoming match is planned to last four rounds.
Sekulović said that he trained well and that he is happy that he has the chance to present himself in front of his audience.
"There is a dose of happiness, but also pressure because I have never been the main fight of the evening until now. I have always done opening fights for professionals. I will box one of the main matches of the event and I will give my all," Sekulović said.
He emphasized that he will box professional matches during breaks between Olympic boxing competitions.
"My goal is to prove myself in Olympic boxing and win one of the medals, so I will use the professional matches for progress," said Sekulović.
The official measurement of the fighters is scheduled for Sunday at 15:30 p.m. in the grounds of BK Podgorica.
The show on the basketball court in Njegoš Park will start at 20:XNUMX p.m., and admission is free.
