The basketball players of Sutjeska had a great chance to take a crucial step towards survival in the ABA league, but in the derby they were defeated by Igokea in Nikšić with 83:72.
The guests led from start to finish, and the winner could be guessed at the beginning of the 9th minute, when Nikola Pešaković scored for a huge plus 16 (27:11).
Led by Brajon Raš, who hit three-pointers from all positions, the people of Nikšić came within 37:42 at the beginning of the second half.
Unfortunately, that was the last shot of Dušan Dubljević's team, as Igokea responded with a 22:4 run and in the 29th minute took an unattainable 64:41 lead.
Sutjeska reduced the score to 64:74, but two and a half minutes before the end, the referees overlooked that Pešaković had crossed the ball into his own half.
Due to justified protests, Dubljević received a technical foul, which broke the match...
