"Ranko Žeravica, who, among many teams, also managed Barcelona from 1974 to 1976, has passed away."
With Žeravica on the bench, the team from the Catalan capital twice won second place in the Spanish championship, behind undisputed Real, and played in the final of the Radivoj Korac Cup.
He is credited with the basketball affirmation of the silver members of the "fury" from the Games in Los Angeles (1984) Ignacio Solozabal and Juan Antonio San Epifini, the record holder for the number of appearances in the Spanish national team.
