After the loss to Miami and elimination from the race for the title, there was information that the leaders of Indiana could end cooperation with coach Frank Vogel.
However, nothing will come of it.
Larry Bird, president of basketball operations, and general manager Kevin Pritchard have the utmost confidence in the 40-year-old expert and he's getting the job done.
A press conference by Indiana leaders is scheduled for Monday, where it will be officially announced that Vogel is continuing his job.
Vogel joined the Pacers bench in 2011, and previously he was an assistant in the coaching staff for four seasons.
He also worked as an assistant in Boston and Philadelphia.
Bird and Pritchard now have a much more difficult task, they need to keep Lance Stevenson and Roy Hibbert, who become restricted free agents.
According to the media, Stevenson is Bird's favorite and is expected to stay, until then a big question mark stands next to Hibbert, who has been in Indianapolis since 2008.
