Without the result imperative, the Teoda basketball players welcome tonight's first match of the quarterfinals of the Balkan League against the Balkans in "Župa".
These two teams played two matches in the league part, and each won on their home field.
The people of Tivat leave the role of favorites to the Bulgarians, but they believe that they have the strength and quality to achieve triumph.
"I think that with six consecutive victories and placing among the six best teams, we have achieved great success. We are playing against a quality team that is very good in the Balkan League, and the second one is in the domestic championship. It will be difficult, but I hope that we will play well and record a victory "We don't think about the difference. A triumph with any difference would be a great success," emphasizes Teoda's strategist Miodrag Kadija.
The team from Botevgrad has great shooters in its ranks, and Martin Marinov (49,1 percent three-point shooting) and Ivan Lilov (45,1 percent) stand out.
"Balkan has a great outside line, in almost every match they have a 50 percent three-point shooting success rate. Everything is based on their fast game, counterattacks and three-point shots. If we manage to get them into our rhythm, I'm sure we have a chance let's celebrate. They are the favorites, but the boys will do their best and I hope to win," Kadija concluded.
Before the rematch with the Bulgarians, next Wednesday, Teodo will play two matches in the domestic championship, that is, six matches in 11 days.
The duel in the "Župa" hall will be played from 19:XNUMX, and the referees from Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ademir Zurapović, Dragan Kralj and Ivan Miličević - will be officiating.
