Dok Rivers will lead the LA Clippers starting next season, ESPN announced.
The former Boston coach has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $21 million contract with the Celtics in exchange for a 2015 pick.
Now I guess there is no obstacle for Boston veteran Kevin Garnett to come to the City of Angels, while the "greens" should be strengthened by Deandre Jordan.
Boston and the Clippers had previously agreed on a trade, in which Rivers was also involved, but it was stopped by league commissioner David Stern because the coach under contract (in this case Rivers) cannot be included in the exchange between the two clubs.
