Partizan's basketball players expect a traditionally difficult away game tomorrow in Zadar, but more attention than basketball was caused by the information that a group of black and white fans will arrive in Dalmatia, as well as that the freed Hague General Ante Gotovina will attend the match.
"We received information that a group of Partizan fans would like to come to the match on Wednesday in an organized manner. We haven't made any decision about it yet, but we probably will on Tuesday," Zadar sports director Branko Skroče told Croatian media.
He appealed to the fans of his club not to come to the match with unnecessary "props", lighters, metal coins and other hard objects.
Partizan coach Duško Vujošević also commented on the announcement that Ante Gotovina should be in the "Krešimir Ćosić" hall in Zadar.
"Like when there was a game with Cedevit in Belgrade, I expressed my opinion then that basketball should be separated from politics. I absolutely have that opinion now. And as for the announcement, from what I know about it and what I have read, I think that Mr. Gotovina will be wiser than her," Vujošević said.
The coach of the black and whites will not lead the team in Zadar from the bench due to his suspension, and his assistant Velimir Gašić will take over that role.
In the first match between the two teams, Partizan defeated Zadar with a lot of difficulty, and Vujošević was sent off in that match due to a conflict with the referees.
The match of the 14th round of the Adriatic League between Zadar and Partizan will be played tomorrow at 20:XNUMX.
