Vladimir Tica is a new member of Buducnost Voli, and he signed a contract until the end of the ABA League.
The experienced center comes as a replacement for Nikola Vučević, who left this morning for America, where he will put his initials on the contract with Philadelphia and in the future will delight the audience in the NBA league.
Thirty-year-old Tica has enviable basketball experience behind him.
He grew up in the ranks of Red Star, whose jersey he wore from 1998 to 2003.
Then he defended the colors of Hemofarm, Dinamo Moscow, Himik (Ukraine), Deksija Mons, Braunschweig (Germany), then again "red and white", and from 2007 to the summer of 2011, his destination was Poland.
He spent a season in Polpak, Basket Kvidzin, Košalina, and finished last season in Poznań.
"First of all, on behalf of the club, I would like to thank Nikola Vučević for the player and human contribution he made in these two, three months, when he was our member. We hoped that he would stay with us a little longer, that the lock-out would take a long time. However, when this already happened, we had to react. We decided to have a more experienced player alongside our young center Bojan Dubljević. Tica gained this by playing for Serbian, Russian, German and Polish teams, and is in full training. I hope that we will manage to register him before the match with Hemofarm. Whoever came, it would be difficult to replace Vučević.
