Nikola Vucevic is leaving Buducnost Voli soon. After an agreement on a new collective agreement was reached at the meeting of the union of players and club owners, the new season in the NBA league begins on December 25.
The center of Philadelphia signed a contract with the "blues" this summer until the end of the strike in the strongest league in the world, and given that it is practically over, the calculation is already being made of how many more matches will be played.
Vucevic will play for Buducnost Voli until December 9, which means four more matches - tonight against Široki, then against Deksija Mons on Tuesday, next week against Partizan and another duel against the Belgians in the Eurocup on December 6.
This is a big problem for Buducnost Voli, because Vucevic has been shining since the start of the ABA League.
In the past eight matches, he averaged 17,4 points, 10,4 rebounds, an assist and 1,4 steals per match.
The leaders of the Montenegrin champions will have to react quickly, because Dejan Radonjić only has Bojan Dubljević available from the classic centers.
According to the agreement, NBA players who have gone to Europe have 10 days to report to the club after the lockout officially ends.
