Former LA Lakers, Charlotte Hornets and Sacramento Kings center Vlade Divac will be one of the 2019 Hall of Famers.
He will thus be in the circle of great basketball legends. The news was reported by American journalist Adrian Vojnarovski, who is considered one of the most informed when it comes to events in the NBA.
What is known for now is that the induction of the new members of the Hall of Fame will be held in Minneapolis during the NCAA Final Four from April 6 to 8.
Divac will become the second Serbian basketball player in the Hall of Fame, after Dražen Dalipagić, and when it comes to basketball players from our region, the honor was previously given to Croats Dino Rađa, Dražen Petrović and Krešimir Ćosić.
Divac is currently the general manager of the Sacramento Kings. He is one of seven basketball players who managed to surpass the barrier of 13.000 points, 9.000 rebounds, 3.000 assists and 1.500 blocks.
