Golden State basketball player Draymond Green reached an agreement with the management of that NBA club on a new four-year contract worth almost 100 million dollars.
Green will thus remain with the Warriors until the end of the 2023/2024 season.
The news was first published by ESPN, and the Associated Press received confirmation from a source who wished to remain anonymous, as certain details of the contract have not yet been agreed upon.
Green will receive $99.666.363 million over four years.
The management of the five-time consecutive champion of the Eastern Conference in the NBA thus managed to ensure the stay of three important players in the upcoming seasons, as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Green have contracts until 2022 and beyond.
Curry's contract expires in three years, and Thompson signed a five-year, $190 million extension last month.
