Sailor coach Mihailo Pavićević said after the convincing victory over MZT 106:75 in the 22nd round of the ABA League that his team played "the regular part of the season like a dream".
"Thank you to the players for a perfect season, they did their best. There was a bit of turbulence in the beginning, until we 'found each other'. Afterwards there was a kind of poetry, which ended with the match against MZT as we had imagined - that everyone they play and the audience enjoys basketball," Pavićević said.
He announced that Mornar is going to surprise against Crvena zvezda.
"Don't think we're going to the playoffs with a white flag. The champion Crvena Zvezda is waiting for us, probably everyone thinks that's what they saw from Mornar, but we haven't said the last word. We don't threaten, nor can we, but with due respect to Zvezda and of her quality, let's go play and try to win. We are not afraid of anyone, my players know that, I convinced them of that," said Pavićević
Credit, he says, belongs to the players.
"When someone does good things in life, it comes back to him well. This goes back to my brother Đorđi. So much effort and investment is returned to him in the best possible way. I am proud of him, and satisfied that my smallness contributed to this result. The whole the city and Montenegro can be proud of what we have achieved. I am more happy that we got so many fans throughout the former Yugoslavia that you can't believe it," Pavićević said.
