With 25 seconds left, the Hornets had a 115:110 advantage, and everything looked as if they would defend their court, when first Satoranski hit a three-pointer, and then with the joint efforts of LaVine, Kobe White and Ryan Archidiakeno, they managed to steal the ball, LaVine went behind the three-point line and scored with 8 hundredths left for a complete turnaround and shock in North Carolina.
LaVine finished the game with a career-high 49 points, 13 of which were 14-pointers, tying him with Steph Curry for second in three-pointers made in a single game (only Klay Thompson made XNUMX).
LaVine's performance came just one day after he publicly criticized Bulls coach Jim Boylen for not trusting him enough as a player.
