Washington recovered from a 27-point deficit and beat New York 118:113, and Philadelphia beat Miami 104:102 and inflicted its seventh loss in the last eight games.
Detroit basketball players beat Atlanta 104:98 and ended their three-game losing streak, Charlotte beat Orlando 104:102, while Indiana beat Brooklyn 108:103 and inflicted its seventh consecutive loss.
