Former Serbian basketball player Vlade Divac announced today that he resigned from the position of general manager of Sacramento.
Divac announced on his website that he decided to resign after Sacramento failed to reach the playoffs this season as well.
"It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as general manager of the Kings. I want to thank Vivek for the opportunity and the incredible colleagues I have had the pleasure of working with during my tenure. Sacramento and the Kings will always have a special place in my heart and I wish them all the best the best in the future," said Divac.
It was announced that Divac will be replaced by Joe Dumars, until recently an advisor, but that he will also be involved in the search for a new general manager.
