It's been almost seven months since the last competitive match - an unforgettable break ends tomorrow, when the Buducnost Volija basketball players will begin their performance on the European stage, with a match against Brescia in Podgorica, in the first round of Group B of the Eurocup.
"Finally, we are playing an official match. We are coming to a team that deserves maximum respect. Last season, Brescia had a notable performance in the Italian championship, until the break, it was right behind Virtus. And now it is a team that is built to go to the second stage of the Eurocup, and will be at the top in the domestic championship," said coach Petar Mijović.
Bubućnost had a long enough preparation period, but with a big problem - a small number of control matches.
"The only real tests were against Cedevita Olimpija and Sailors. Everything is specific, after a long break we have a serious game waiting for us, without fans, which limits us in a certain way. We will have to be at our best if we want, and we want, to start the Eurocup with a win ", Mijović said.
