After almost seven months, or more precisely 211 days, the official basketball game will finally be played in "Morača".
There won't be an audience, the fans won't be able to give the team a boost, but that doesn't change their ambitions - Buducnost Voli wants to open its 14th appearance in the Eurocup with a victory against Brescia.
And if "barbarians" were in the stands, it would not be easy for Petar Mijović's chosen ones. The team led by the once great scorer Vincenzo Esposito has already played seven official matches in the new season - six in the Italian Super Cup, one in Palacanestro (score 3:4), while behind the "blues" there are only six preparatory matches.
They won all six, but only the last two checks were correct - against Cedevit Olimpija (72:62) and Sailors (99:87).
- Everything is specific, after a long break we have a serious match waiting for us, without fans, which limits us in a certain way. We will have to be at our best if we want, and we want, to start the Eurocup with a win - said Mijović.
The team from Lombardy was a participant in the quarter-finals of the Eurocup at the time of the break last season, and in Serie A it shared 3rd place with Armani. The new edition of the national championship began on Sunday, with a defeat after overtime in Varese (94:89).

Esposito's team includes four Americans, Canadian Kenny Cherry, Serbian center on loan from Red Star, Dušan Ristic, and six Italians, of which only Brian Sacchetti and Luka Vitali play a significant role.
It is clear that this is not a team that can go too far in the Eurocup, but the defeats against Trento and Ark Gdina last season serve as a reminder that any relaxation is punished.

The Canadian, one of the four newcomers this season, hinted in the preparatory period that there will be a big reinforcement. He knows Italian basketball, because in the 2016/2017 season. played for Venice, with whom he was champion and MVP of the final.
- Brescia is a very good Italian team, with many quality players, but we have to take care of our game. We had a good preseason, but now the real season begins and we have to start strong from the start - Edžim pointed out.
