Podgorica basketball players ended a series of three defeats and achieved an important victory in the battle for the playoffs of the ABA 2 league.
Zoran Kašćelan's team defeated Helios 87:85 in the second match of the third "balloon", hosted by Sarajevo.
The team from Podgorica had a 12-point advantage in the middle of the third quarter, but the match was decided two seconds before the end - the match-winner was Novak Music, who scored the victory from a penetration.
Previously, Podgorica lost an 83:77 advantage, which it gained two minutes before the end, when it seemed that it had taken control of the result and was surely heading for victory.
However, Helios equalized 85:85, 15 seconds before the end, after a mistake by Musić in transferring the ball...
Musić, however, redeemed himself in the best way, with an effective solo action in the last attack.
The defender of Podgorica scored 17 points, as many as Vladimir Tomašević, 16 were scored by Marko Kovačević.
After nine matches, Podgorica has a score of 5-4.
In two days, he will play the third game in Sarajevo against Gorica.
