The famous basketball representative of Yugoslavia, Žarko Paspalj, suffered a stroke in the USA, from which he is recovering in San Antonio.
The former ace of Budućnost, Partizan, San Antonio, Olympiakos, Panatanaikos, Aris, Panionios, Paris was visiting Gregg Popovic, coach of the San Antonio Spurs, who drafted him for the "Spurs" team in 1989.
As reported by the local media, as well as journalist Eileen Voisin, Paspalj is currently feeling well and after spending the night in the hospital, he was transferred to the house of Popovic.
The former teammate from Partizan and the Yugoslav national team was also visited by Vlade Divac, before the visit of Sacremento Kings in New York.
Vlade said Zarko was recovering nicely, and of course, totally trusts him in Popovich's care. ZP has had heart issues for years, for sure. https://t.co/DUOb9yoXbx
