Barcelona basketball players defeated Olympiakos 79:78 after extra time in the 3rd round of the Euroleague.
The match ended 67:67 in the regular part.
The start of the game was in favor of the guests, who after 10 minutes had a seven-point advantage (17:10), and went to the break with plus five (32:27).
Barça woke up in the sequel, got a turnaround and took the lead after 30 minutes (55:47), but played the last quarter badly, so the match went into extra time, in which "Blaugrana" managed to win after Oreola's free throws at seven seconds to the end of the match.
Olympiakos had a shot to win, but Slukas was inaccurate.
Nikola Mirotic led Barça to victory. He scored 22 points with six rebounds. Nik Kalates had nine points and 13 assists. Higgins scored 11, Davis 10 points.
At Olympiakos, Slukas scored 14 points, Dorsi and Vezenkov scored 12 points each.
Red Star basketball players defeated Zalgris 73:61 in the 3rd round of the Euroleague.
It was another tough, uncertain match until the finish, and Dejan Radonjić's team again allowed a small number of points to the opponent and recorded the second tied victory in this competition.
The question of the winner was solved at the very end when Nikola Kalinic scored a three-pointer, and Austin Hollins removed any doubt with another precise three-point shot.
Kalinic led the Belgraders to victory with 15 points, five rebounds and three assists. Ognjen Dobrić had 13 points, and Luka Mitrović had 12 points and seven rebounds.
The Montenegrin representative, Nikola Ivanovic scored three points in 12 minutes, all from the free throw line (0/7 field goal). He also had two rebounds and one assist.
Jure Zdovac sat on the Žalgiris bench for the first time tonight, and Još Nebo was the most effective with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
