Croatian basketball player Bojan Bogdanović had a season performance of 26 points (six three-pointers), six rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes of play in Utah's 111:105 home loss to Miami.
Utah started the game very badly and Miami led by as many as 25 points in the early stages. The turnaround attempt started only in the last quarter, in which Bogdanović scored 19 points, Utah came to only minus four, but a complete turnaround was still not possible.
Bogdanovic was the first scorer ahead of Jordan Carkson (25) and Donovan Mitchell (22), while Miami was led by Tyler Hiro with 27 and Duncan Robinson with 22 points.
In this game, Bogdanović became only the second Croatian with over 8.000 points in his NBA career, and only Toni Kukoc scored more.
After this second consecutive defeat on their floor, Utah is sixth in the West with an 8-5 record, and in front of them are the LA Clippers (8-4), who celebrated at home last night against Minnesota with a score of 129:102.
Paul George (23) and Reggie Jackson (21) led the home team, and Anthony Edwards with 21 points was the best scorer of the Wolves, who lost to the Clippers for the third time this season.
Washington consolidated its first place in the Eastern Conference with a victory in Orlando (104:92), although it played without the first star Bradley Beal, who had a death or accident in the family.
The fourth consecutive victory (9-4) was secured by Spencer Dinwiddie (23 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists), with solid support from Montrez Harrell (20 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds).
Justin Holliday scored a record 27 points off the bench in Indiana's home triumph against decimated Philadelphia (118:113).
Phila got only 21 points from their reserves, and the absence of Joel Embiid, Mathis Taybul and Ben Simmons proved to be too much.
