Sutjeska safe against Danilovgrad, double-double of Spasojević

Sutjeska basketball players defeated Danilovgrad tonight 81:71 in the last match of the 4th round of the First League for basketball players.

After four rounds, the team from Nikšić has two wins and a loss (with a match less, against Ibra), while Danilovgrad has a score of 1-3.

Sutjeska was in the lead from the beginning of the match, and in the second quarter with an 2:18 series, it had a maximum advantage of 0 points - 22:41.

After 20 minutes, there was an 18 difference for Sutjeska (49:31), but at the beginning of the 3rd quarter there was a drop in the game of Nikšić. The guests from Danilovgrad returned to the game and at three minutes and 28 seconds to the end of the third part they were six points behind - 55:49.

However, Sutjeska repelled that rush, after 30 minutes again had a more noticeable advantage (66:51) and in the end celebrated routinely.

The most effective player in Velimir Gašić's team was Radosav Spasojević with a double-double performance - 18 points and 10 rebounds, along with three assists, two steals and an index of 29.

Jovan Vojinović finished the match with 13 points, Miloš Vujović added 11, and Ilija Varajić 10 points.

In Danilovgrad, the best players were from Nikšić - Filip Gardašević with 18 and Nikola Tončić with 17 points.

In the next round, Sutjeska hosts Teod, Danilovgrad hosts Ibra.

In yesterday's matches, Podgorica defeated Ibar 82:79 after two overtimes, Lovćen beat Teod 92:89 in Cetinje, and SC Derbi in Podgorica beat Milenijum 70:67.

Primorje beat Jedinstvo 71:63 in Herceg Novi on Sunday.
