Ivković, Žeravica, Korać and Delibašić are candidates for the Hall of Fame

Legendary coaches Dušan Ivković and Ranko Žeravica, as well as basketball players Radivoj Korać and Mirza Delibašić are candidates for entry into the Nejsmith Hall of Fame in Springfield.

Ivković died in September, and in his trophy career he was a multiple medal winner with the national teams of Yugoslavia and Serbia. He was European champion with Olympiakos.

Ranko Žeravica is another trophy-winning selector of the Yugoslavia national team, who is a candidate for entry. Among other things, he won the Olympic gold with Yugoslavia in 1980 and the world gold ten years earlier.

Radivoj Korać won two silver medals at the European Championships, two at the World Championships and the Olympic Games with the Yugoslav national team, as well as a bronze at the European Championships.

Mirza Delibašić, who became famous in Sarajevo Bosnia, is one of the most decorated Yugoslav basketball players. With the national team, he won eight medals, including Olympic and world gold, as well as two of the brightest medals from the European Championship.

The final roster will be announced during All-Star Weekend on February 18 in Cleveland, and the Class of 2022 induction ceremony will be held on September 9 and 10.
