Atlanta basketball players beat Phoenix 124:115 and ended the Suns streak of 11 victories in the NBA.
Atlanta was led by Trae Young with 43 points and five rebounds. He scored six three-pointers, including the one with 37 seconds left for a 122:113 lead. John Collins contributed to the victory with 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Kevin Herter with 19 points, of which he had five three-pointers.
Serbian basketball player Bogdan Bogdanović finished the game with 11 points, six assists, two rebounds and a steal. The Hawks made 20 of 41 three-pointers in their eighth win in their last nine games.
Phoenix suffered its first loss since January 8, but is still the best team in the league with a record of 41 wins and 10 losses. The most effective players in that team were Devin Booker with 32 points, Mikel Bridges with 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists and Chris Paul with 18 points, 12 assists and three steals.
The Suns had a double-digit hitting streak for the second time this season. From Oct. 30 to Dec. 2, they set a franchise record 18-game winning streak.
Golden State basketball players beat Sacramento 126:114 and achieved their eighth consecutive victory. Seven Warriors players scored double-digit points, and Klay Thompson was the most effective with 23 points, seven assists and five rebounds, and he hit the first seven shots.
Steph Curry participated in the victory with 20 points and seven assists, and Jonathan Cummings with 18 points and seven rebounds.
In the Sacramento team, Devion Mitchell was the most effective with 26 points and eight assists and Harrison Barnes with 25 points and five rebounds.
Los Angeles Clippers beat city rival Lakers 111:110. Reggie Jackson scored 25 points for the Clippers, including the decisive basket with four seconds left. He also had eight rebounds and six assists. Marcus Morris scored 29 points with seven rebounds, and Serge Ibaka scored 20 points with eight rebounds.
Four minutes before the end of the third quarter, the Clippers led by 17 points, and in the last 63 seconds, both teams were in the lead five times, including Jackson's winning basket.
Lakers' Anthony Davis missed the game-winning shot in the final moments of the game. He finished the match with 30 points, 17 rebounds, two steals, two assists and two blocks. Malik Monk added 21 points, with seven assists and six rebounds, and Russell Westbrook added 17 points, six rebounds and four assists.
The team was without LeBron James, for the fifth consecutive game, due to a problem with his left knee. Miami basketball players beat San Antonio with 112:95 and ended a streak of three losses, and Minnesota was better than Detroit with 128:117 and achieved the fifth victory in the last six games.
