Serbian basketball player Bogdan Bogdanović scored 13 points, two rebounds and one assist and a steal in the winning team.
In the Charlotte team, Lamelo Ball was the most effective with 26 points, eight assists and five rebounds, Terry Rozier scored 21 points, while PJ Washington added 17 points.
With this defeat, Charlotte ended the competition in the NBA league, and they last appeared in the playoffs in 2016.
Atlanta will play in the finals of the playoffs against Cleveland, which was previously defeated by Brooklyn.
The match will be played in Cleveland, on the night between Friday and Saturday. The winner will enter the playoffs from the eighth position and will play against Miami in the first round.
New Orleans beat San Antonio 113:103 on their home field, for a place in the play-offs in the Western Conference.
At the beginning of the last part, the home team led 96:75, only for the team from Texas to reduce the score with a 16:1 series.
However, until the end of the match, New Orleans maintained the advantage, and they were led to victory by CJ McCallum, who recorded 32 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Brandon Ingram scored 27 points, with five rebounds and assists, while Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds.
In the San Antonio team, Devin Vasel was better than the rest with 23 points, while Jakob Peltl and Dejonte Murray added 16 each.
On the night between Friday and Saturday, New Orleans will host the Los Angeles Clippers, who were defeated by Minnesota in the last round.
The winner of that duel will enter the playoffs as the eighth seed and will play against Phoenix in the first round.
