In the First Montenegrin Basketball League, the regular season ended last week, and today the first playoff matches are scheduled.
The three best teams from the regular part - Sutjeska, Podgorica and Jedinstvo - and Mornar, as the lowest placed Montenegrin team in the AdmiralBet ABA league, participate in the play-off.
The pairs are Podgorica - Sutjeska and Jedinstvo - Mornar, and both matches start at 18 p.m. Two matches will be played, and if both teams win, the team that won by a greater margin will qualify for the semi-finals of the playoffs. Rematches in Nikšić and Bar are scheduled for Friday.
Podgorica and Sutjeska played four matches this season - Nikšić won both times in the championship and once in the ABA2 league, while Nebojša Bogavac's team was better in the quarterfinals of the Cup of Montenegro.
Unity and Sailor did not meet.
Buducnost Voli awaits Sutjeska or Podgorica in the semi-finals, while Jedinstvo or Mornar will face SC Derby.
The trophy is defended by Bubućnost Voli.
