The young Montenegrin basketball representative Filip Andušić is the new player of Podgorica.
Anđušić is a member of the young basketball team of Montenegro, which won bronze at the recent European Championship in Podgorica.
The Montenegrin basketball player was born in Pljevlja on January 22, 2002, and plays in the positions of wing center and center.
Anđušić grew up in Pljevlje, before moving to Serbia in the summer of 2016, where he joined the junior selections of Vizura. In the 2018/2019 season, he was declared the most valuable player of the Serbian Cadet League.
At the beginning of May 2019, he signed a scholarship contract with Red Star and immediately joined the junior team. In February 2020, he signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Crvena Zvezda, and as a loan player he played for Tamis, and last season he played for Serbian Slodes. In 25 games, he scored 353 points (14 on average), with 163 rebounds.
At the recently concluded European Championship for players under the age of 20, he averaged 11 points and nine rebounds in seven games, and in five matches he was in double figures, of which he had a double-double performance against Germany and the Czech Republic.
Anđušić is the fourth reinforcement of Podgorica. Before him, the contract was signed by Selim Fofana, Luka Barišić and Mladen Vujić.
