Now the Greek Basketball Association has confirmed such announcements, and the 27-year-old ace should play for Greece at the end of August in the qualifiers for the World Cup, against Serbia and Belgium.
Eurobasket takes place from September 1 to 18, and the hosts will be the Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy and Germany.
Greece is in Group C, which also includes Croatia, Italy, Estonia, Ukraine and Great Britain.
