In Montenegro, he left his mark as a player for the Student Center, Primorje, Ulcinj, Teod, Lovcen and Danilovgrad, which he helped win survival at the end of last season, now it's time for a third adventure abroad - Petar Kusovac signed a contract with the ABA 2 champion league, Zlatibor.
The excellent shooter from Podgorica has agreed on the details of a one-year cooperation with Strajin Nedović's team, which was a victim of unfair rules last season.
Namely, the team from Čajetina sensationally won the ABA 2 league at the final tournament in Skopje, but did not enter the elite, due to the rule that there cannot be six teams from the same country.
Because of this, he had to play a playoff with Borce from Čačak, in which he lost both matches.
Zlatibor will again try to reach the elite competition and repeat the success from last season, when it was ranked first in the Basketball League of Serbia (competition without ABA League participants).
The club estimated that the arrival of Kusovac, who celebrates his 29th birthday in August, could help them in this goal.
Last season, Kusovac played 10 games for Lovćen in the ABA 2 league and averaged 8,9 points, 1,8 assists and 1,5 rebounds.
