Ognjen Čarapić has extended his contract, so he will play for Podgorica next season, the club announced.
Čarapić has been in Podgorica since 2020. In the previous season in the NLB ABA2 league, he averaged nine points, along with 4,2 assists. In the 2020/2021 season. he averaged eight points and 3,2 rebounds.
"I am very satisfied and happy to continue cooperation with Basketball Club Podgorica. We have a young and promising team, with phenomenal conditions that the club offers. I hope for a very good season," Čarapić told the club's website.
In his career, Čarapić played for Budućnost, Mega, Burg and FMP.
The new players of Podgorica are Filip Andušić, Danilo Brnović, Selim Fofana, Luka Barišić and Mladen Vujić.
