Basketball players from Podgorica defeated Lovćen tonight 81:65 and advanced to the semi-finals of the "Ljubo Jovanović" memorial tournament.
Podgorica will play against Mornar (18) in the semi-finals tomorrow, while Lovćen will play against the loser of the match between Sutjeska and SC Derbi in the match for fifth place on Tuesday (16).
Nebojša Bogavac's team led from the beginning of the match, in the second quarter, after Luka Barišić's point, they had a double-digit advantage for the first time (35:25), and after 20 minutes they led 44:32.
The question of the winner was resolved in the third quarter when Podgorica went on a 13:0 run and reached a 22-point advantage (60:38).
The most effective player in the winning team was Marko Kljajević with 14 points. Mladen Vujić scored 13, Selim Fofana 12, Barišić 11, and Ognjen Čarapić 10 points.
At Lovcen, Milutin Đukanović stood out with 21 points.
