Bućnost broke the resistance of Mega in the 3rd quarter, Jagodić-Kuriža injured his knee

The penultimate test in 2022 for Buducnost Volija basketball players was easy - Vladimir Jovanović's team justified their role as favorites and defeated Mega 500:79 in front of 66 spectators in "Morača".

However, there is not much reason to celebrate, because Marko Jagodić-Kuriža landed awkwardly in the 15th minute and injured the knee of his right leg.

It is not yet known how long the experienced Serbian representative will take a break, but the big question is whether he will be ready for the visit to Borc on Friday.

The problem is that JJ O'Brien, whose contract with Nanter lasts until Thursday, when his new team travels to Čačak, will not be able to jump "into the fire" right away, so he will have to wait for his teammates in Podgorica.

In the 1st half, Bučudnost never managed to gain a significant difference, even though it was leading almost all the time.

The maximum was plus eight, after Cameron Reynolds' three-pointer for 35:27 in the 19th minute.

It was 40:34 at halftime, and the "blues" took the lead 8:0 with an 48:36 series, in which Tre Bel-Haynes and Petar Popović hit triples, and the Montenegrin representative assisted Alfi Kaba for an easy dunk, and forced Marko Barać to take a time-out at the start of the 23rd minute.

It didn't end there - Aleksandar Lazić shot behind the line 6,75 in 51:36, which was a hint of victory.

Mega, however, did not give up, they got close to 56:49, but Lazić restored the double-digit difference with another three-pointer, after which Mega never again came close to a minus expressed by one digit.

When everything was settled, with the score 77:65 with two minutes and 36 seconds left, Jovanović gave a chance to Suad Šehović. However, the experienced Bjelopolja did not even kick, because his teammates did not give him the ball, so he remained at the figure of 400 three-pointers in the ABA League, three less than Sinisa Štemberger's record.

Lazić was the most effective in the winning team with 18 points, Alfa Kaba, Bel-Haines and Aleksa Ilić gave 10 each.
