Chicago basketball players lost after overtime to Cleveland 145:134 in a match that will go down in NBA history.
Chicago led by 18 points at halftime (65:47), but Cleveland came back in the third quarter, and in the last quarter managed to win overtime in which there was no doubt about the winner.
The match was marked by Donovan Mitchell, who in 50 minutes scored 71 points (22/34 field goal shooting), and had eight rebounds and 11 assists. Three seconds before the end of regulation, he missed the second free throw, and then after an offensive rebound brought the Cavaliers overtime.
This was the first game in NBA history in which a basketball player scored more than 70 points and had at least 10 assists.

Mitchell became only the third player in this century, after Kobe Bryant and Devin Booker, to score more than 70 points in one game and only the seventh overall.
Wilt Chamberlain did it six times, and the 70+ club also includes David Thompson, Elgin Baylor and David Robinson.
When it comes to Chicago, Demar Derozan was the most effective with 44 points. Zack Lavin had 26 points and six rebounds and assists, while Montenegrin international Nikola Vučević had 20 points (6/8 from the field) and 13 rebounds.

Chicago is 12th in the East with 16 wins and 21 losses, while Cleveland is fourth in the same conference with a record of 24-14.
