Chicago basketball players defeated the current champions, Golden State 132:118 tonight, ending a streak of three defeats in the NBA league, and Montenegrin basketball player Nikola Vucevic had a night to remember.
Vučević was on the field for 39 minutes, and scored 43 points (41 points from the game, only two from the penalty spot, with 18/31 field goal shooting), along with 13 rebounds and four assists and steals each.
Vucevic equaled his best scoring performance in the NBA tonight. Previously, he scored 43 points playing for Orlando, just in the game with Chicago, at the beginning of February 2021. A month later, he was traded to the Bulls.

This is the fourth game in his career in which Vucevic scores more than 40 points. He scored 20 points against Brooklyn on October 2017, 41, and one more against Sacramento on February 12, 2021.
The first quarter was marked by the Bulls, who led from the start, and after that period had a 15-point lead (35:20).
Chicago's fall followed in the second, Golden State melted the advantage and took the lead for the first time when Curry, 29 seconds before the end of the half, hit a three-pointer for 61:59, and that was the score after two quarters.
At the beginning of the resumption, after Thompson's point, the "warriors" were up by eight (67:59), so that the Bulls would go on an 8:0 run and take a 71:70 lead.
After Thompson's triple, it was 73:70 for Golden State, which is the team's last lead in the game. Chicago turned it over again and maintained the advantage until the end of the match.
Vucevic marked the evening, and besides him, Lavin with 27, White with 15, Dosunma and Caruso with 12 each and Williams with 10 points were in double figures for Chicago.
At Golden State, 26 points from Thompson, 20 from Curry, and 11 from Wiggins.
The champions had as many as 23 turnovers.
