Jovanović: We had a difficult journey to the cup; Bogavac: These were three days of beautiful basketball

There was a lot of excitement in the final of the Cup of Montenegro for basketball players, in the end there were no surprises - Budućnost Voli defeated Podgorica (76:67) for the 16th cup in this competition.

"We had a very difficult road to the finals, against Sutjeska and Mornar, a member of the ABA2 and ABA League, and in the finals a very motivated team from Podgorica awaited us. I congratulate the team and I am satisfied that we made it through this tournament with many problems. We had the shortest roster ever, remained without Suad Šehović... We won the trophy regardless of the circumstances," said Budućnosti coach Vladimir Jovanović.

"We had a large number of matches in a short period of time, in addition to big problems in the last five days. All this makes us really feel satisfaction for winning the cup," Jovanović pointed out.

Podgorica coach Nebojša Bogavac was satisfied with the way his team opposed the favorite.

"We played three very good games, it was decided by a couple of balls. Now it was on the side of Buducnost and I have nothing to complain about the players. They gave everything and I congratulate them on the games, but we have to continue like this - we showed that we can be equal to the team "What is Budućnost like? I congratulate them from the bottom of my heart on winning the cup. There were three days of beautiful basketball, several great matches, and I think this is one of the nicest cup competitions in Montenegro," said Bogavac and continued:

"The quality is that we got back into the game after a very bad start. Cramp was obvious in the boys, and later we were very strong... I'm generally satisfied, it was a good fight," said the former Montenegrin national team member.
