NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced on Friday that two legends - Dirk Nowitzki and Dwayne Wade - have received a special invitation to perform at the All-Star Game, as they are retiring at the end of the season.

"That would be fantastic. I would love to play together. He is a player I have followed a lot, who has been my idol for so long. It would be great, I am excited about that possibility," Vucevic said.
The center of Orlando received an invitation to the All-star match for the first time, and he considers the decision to have Nowitzki and Wade part of the spectacle for the last time great.
"Both of them deserved it, because of everything they did in the NBA and in their careers," said Vucevic.
Novcki is the first European who was MVP of the league (2006/07), the seventh leading scorer in NBA history, MVP of the 2011 Finals.
Wade is one of three players in history to have at least 20.000 points, 5.000 assists, 4.000 rebounds, 1.500 steals, 800 blocks and 500 triples. Besides him, Michael Jordan and LeBron James have such figures.
Team captains James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will select their squads on February 7.
Then it will be known with whom Vucevic will play in his first appearance in the match of all stars.
