They suffered their last defeat in the regional competition against Crvena zvezda on January 15, and that is their only lost game at home in the ABA League this season.

True, between the games on the Adriatic, the "blues" played with certain oscillations in the Eurocup, suffered three defeats (Trento, Gran Canaria and Turk Telekom), and in the end won sixth place in that competition and scheduled a showdown with Ulm in the round of XNUMX.

Until the match with the German team (April 12.4), Buducnost will play two games in the ABA league, and the first tomorrow (16), against Mornar, in "Morača" in the 24th round. According to the original schedule, the match was supposed to be played today, but it was postponed due to the second round of the presidential elections.

These two teams played seven games in "Morača" in the ABA League and the home team won all seven times. This season, the rivals played two games, and Budućnost won both times (104:87 in Bar in the ABA League and 100:80 in the semifinals of the Cup of Montenegro).

"Regardless of the fact that we played two games with Mornar, I'm talking about the ABA League and the Cup of Montenegro, we and Mornar have changed our lineup a lot. The upcoming match will certainly be interesting. We know how coach Pavićević's teams play. An attacking team, at the moment there are a lot of players who have points in their hands. They can create points with a lot of three-point shooting and our main task is to stop their offense. When we play good defense, it allows us to score easy points, especially on the counterattack. That's what we should strive for and to improve our three-point shooting percentages," said Budućnosti coach Vladimir Jovanović in the announcement of the match.

After the 22nd, Buducnost has 16 wins and six losses - the "blues" have more wins, but also a better head-to-head record than the fourth-placed Cedevita Olimpija. On the other hand, Mornar is 7-14.

"Against the Sailors, as always, a great fight awaits us. It will be a demanding duel. The Rams insist on an extremely fast game, are aggressive in defense, and try to score easy points from transition. This is a team that has made a lot of changes since our first match in the ABA league. Our team has also experienced changes. If our defense is up to par, I believe we can record another victory," said Aleksandar Lazić.
